Clement of Rome

Clement of Rome. This is my first effort to research and then convey my findings about one of The Apostolic Early Church Fathers. Currently it is getting some last touches before I send it over to some editors. I eagerly anticipate further engagement with his legacy and invite others to join me in this journey of discovery.

Clement – a Bishop of Rome lived from ~35-100AD and wrote to the Corinthians ~67-69AD. He quotes multiple verses of both the Jewish Bible and the New Testament. Confirms Paul as an apostle of the church. Eusebius – Bishop of Caesarea Maritima – wrote that this Clement is the one mentioned by Paul as the “fellow-worker” of the apostle in Paul’s Epistle to the Philippians.
